Delete your Optica Store account

This page is for customers of the Optica Store app by Optica W.L.L.

In the app

Account → tap your name → My Profile → Delete my account (bottom).

Tap Delete to confirm. This signs you out on this phone and asks our team to delete your Optica account and personal details.

Without the app

Email customercare@optica.net from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”, and write: “Please delete my Optica account and my personal details.”

To protect your privacy and security, we will verify your identity before granting access or making changes to your personally-identifying information.

When

We finish within 30 days and email you when it’s done.

What we delete

• Your Optica account and the personal details on it: name, email, phone (except where it is on an eye-test record), addresses, date of birth and gender. What we keep by law is listed below.
• Your Google or Apple sign-in link, your Wishlist, and the link between your phone's notifications and your account.
• Your personal details, messages and photos in your other Customer care requests.
• Eye-test bookings you made in the app.

What we keep

By law we keep your eye-test and prescription records, with the details that identify you on them (such as your CPR and mobile number), and a record of what you bought. We also keep a record of this request.
